My Philosophy
Less medicine is better. We work together to find the right medicine.
Medicine is not the only tool that helps.
If you don’t feel well or like yourself, we find a better option.
No sugarcoating. We discuss medication benefits and side effects to help you make the best decision for you.
Thorough history and pharmacogenomic testing are often helpful in directing your care.

Supporting your child’s social, emotional, and everyday skill development -
I get to know your child through direct interaction along with the developmental and academic history you share.
We’ll talk about how things are going at home, at school, socially, and emotionally.
We build rapport so your child feels comfortable and included in the treatment process.
Together, we focus on
Medications, therapies, and school supports. At follow-up visits, we review progress and make treatment adjustments as needed.
Our goal
Supporting your child’s social, emotional, and everyday skill development. -
I typically begin visits with both the adolescent and their parent or caregiver, creating space for open family communication. I also offer individual time, so everyone has the opportunity to share openly and comfortably.
I get to know your child and how they’re doing at home, at school, socially, and emotionally. Together, we review wellness strategies, medication options, and school or community supports.
I involve your child in treatment decisions, so they feel included, respected, and engaged in their care.
Our goal
Supporting healthy development, communication, and growing independence. -
I enjoy working with young people as you settle into adulthood. I get to know you by learning your story, your experiences with mental health care, and the challenges you face.
Together, we focus on medication management. Whether starting new treatment or refining an existing regimen. We build your support team by discussing evidence-based therapies and supportive community resources such as counseling, higher education supports, or vocational programs when helpful.
Our goal is achieving wellness, independence, confidence, and personal growth as you move forward into adulthood.
